A local non for-profit well-known organization is currently seeking a part time Controller to work remotely from home. This position guarantees approximately 30 hours a week with the possibility of full-time hours later down the road.

Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Supervise daily accounting functions.
• Review monthly bank reconciliations and the posting of journal entries.
• Supervise the daily collection and deposit of cash, receipts, and gift acknowledgements.
• Review vouchers receipts and journal entries for proper coding of account numbers.
• Review monthly general ledger journal entries.
• Maintain data integrity for accounting practices, operating procedures, and internal controls to insure accurate and reliable data necessary for business activities.
• Bank reconciliation
• Run allocations
• Post transactions
• Approve checks and registers.

Job Type: Part-time 30hrs. +

Pay: $14.00 – $20.00 per hour BOE
